Kleios — Terms of Service

Welcome to Kleios. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Kleios mobile application ("Kleios," "the app," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Kleios.

1. The service

Kleios is a photo-verified habit and accountability app. You can track habits and routines and earn XP for free. Social features — friends, the shared feed, Lock-In sessions, boss battles, and reactions — are part of Kleios Plus, our paid subscription (see Section 3).

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for activity under it. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Kleios. You are responsible for the content you submit, including photos.

3. Kleios Plus subscription

What you get. Kleios Plus unlocks the app's social layer: friends, the feed, Lock-In sessions, boss battles, and reactions. Solo habit tracking, routines, and XP remain free.

Free trial. New accounts receive 14 days of full access to Kleios Plus features for free, starting at signup. No payment is collected to start the trial. When the trial ends, social features lock unless you subscribe; your habit-tracking data always remains accessible.

Pricing. Kleios Plus is offered as an auto-renewable subscription:

Prices are in U.S. dollars; local prices and currencies are shown in the app and set through the App Store.

Auto-renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price of the plan you selected. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID Account Settings → Subscriptions after purchase. Cancelling stops future renewals; the current paid period continues until it expires.

Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policies. We do not separately process payments or issue refunds.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: submit unlawful, harmful, harassing, or infringing content; upload photos you do not have the right to share or that depict others without consent; attempt to bypass entitlement or payment controls; or interfere with the app's operation or other users. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the photos and content you submit. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content as needed to operate the app (for example, showing your Lock-In proof to your friends). You are responsible for what you share.

6. Termination

You may stop using Kleios and delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. Certain data may be retained or deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Kleios is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under applicable law that cannot be waived.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and, where appropriate, notifying you in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
